Overview

A management consulting firm delivered monthly performance reports to each client. Each report required pulling data from multiple sources, running analyses, writing narrative insights, creating charts, and formatting everything into a branded PDF. We built an AI report generation system that automates the entire pipeline from data ingestion to final PDF delivery.

The Challenge

Each client's report is unique — different KPIs, different data sources, different narrative contexts. The AI needed to generate analysis that an experienced consultant would agree with, create meaningful visualizations, and write insights that actually help clients make decisions rather than just restating numbers.

Our Approach

We built a template-driven report engine with AI-powered content generation. Each client has a report configuration defining their data sources, KPIs, and comparison benchmarks. The AI pulls current data, runs statistical analysis, generates narrative insights explaining trends and anomalies, creates recommended actions, and assembles everything into a branded PDF using the firm's design templates.
